VibeKey is an AI API gateway for routing requests to third-party model providers. These terms apply to all users of VibeKey services.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys. You must keep your API keys confidential. If you suspect your keys or account have been compromised, contact us immediately at security@usevibekey.com. VibeKey is not liable for unauthorized use of your keys.
VibeKey operates on a prepaid credit system. You add prepaid balance to your account, and API usage is deducted from that balance. Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or for billing, payment, or fraud errors. Payment processing fees may be added at checkout.
Requests stop before reaching a model provider when your available balance reaches $0. You can also set project-level daily and monthly spend caps.
Usage rates, provider routing, and available models may change over time. We will make reasonable efforts to display current pricing and routing information before use. Pricing changes do not entitle users to refunds for previously purchased or used credits.

VibeKey routes requests to third-party model providers including but not limited to OpenAI, DeepSeek, and future providers. Your use of VibeKey to access these providers is also subject to the individual terms, usage policies, and data handling practices of each provider. VibeKey does not control the underlying models or provider infrastructure. We recommend reviewing provider terms before use.
Do not send secrets, regulated data, or sensitive personal information unless your project settings and provider agreements allow it.
You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy at all times. Prohibited uses include illegal activity, malware, phishing, fraud, harassment, spam, credential theft, abuse of payment systems, and any use that violates provider policies or applicable law.
VibeKey may suspend accounts, revoke API keys, block requests, or refuse service when we believe, in our sole discretion, that usage violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, provider policies, applicable law, or payment rules, or creates risk to VibeKey, our providers, users, or third parties. Suspended accounts are not entitled to refunds except where required by law or for billing, payment, or fraud errors.
AI model outputs may contain inaccuracies, biases, or errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and determining the suitability of AI-generated content for your use case. VibeKey does not guarantee the correctness, security, safety, or fitness for a particular purpose of any AI output. Do not rely on AI outputs for medical, legal, financial, security-critical, or production decisions without independent verification.
VibeKey is an early-stage service. Availability, features, model routing, pricing, and provider integrations may change. We may modify or discontinue features, models, or integrations, especially when underlying providers change their APIs, pricing, policies, or availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VibeKey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service, including but not limited to provider costs incurred due to misconfigured project settings, rate-limit or spend-cap exceeded errors, unauthorized access to your account, or reliance on AI-generated outputs.
